Product Description
QED SS20 2-way speaker switch box selector (in parallel) allows you to switch between 2 pairs from one stereo amplifier (accepts bare wire only). When switching in parallel, the impedance load of two pairs of 8 ohm speakers is 4 ohms, so please check the minimum impedance requirements for your amp.
Includes high quality banana plug speaker sockets.
Note; it is important to choose the right selector box for your setup, as low ohmage can lead to amplifier damage. Series switches double the ohmage going back to the amplifier from a pair of speakers. Paralel halve the ohmage, and should therefore not be used with low-ohmage speakers.
