Product Description
The Revel L41XC is a small form factor, 2-way, 100mm satellite outdoor speaker that can withstand extreme weather conditions. However, the performance is uncompromised and the Characteristic Revel sound is maintained. The speaker can be used in extreme locations, that are either hot, cold, damp humid, or wet. Power handling is 60 Watts into 4 Ohms and there is also a 70V option via the integrated transformer. Power taps allow the output level to be changed on 70V systems.
Aluminium domed woofer and aluminium tweeter
To make the Revel L41XC outdoor satellite speaker weatherproof both the woofer and tweeter have aluminium cones and domes. The sound is crystal clear and has high-resolution detail with low distortion.
Easy mounting
There are two mounting options with the Revel L41XC outdoor satellite speaker. There is a surface mounting bracket as well as a ground spike. Both provide a reliable connection to the ground or a building. Revel speakers feature superior build quality for a long and reliable life. They have an IP67 rating that certifies protection against dust, water jets, and waves.
What is a 70V speaker system?
70 Volt speaker systems are used when multiple speakers are required in or around a building, for example, a public address system or background music system. One speaker wire is used that runs to each speaker which is known as daisy chaining. The amplifier output then drives all of the speakers. The Revel L41XC outdoor satellite speaker has an integrated transformer with selectable power taps. These change the impedance and hence the output power or the loudness of the speaker. This allows the volume to be changed depending on the location. For example, a building may have different ceiling heights or the same speakers may need to be used where the background noise is higher. In that case, a higher-powered tap can be used.
