Product Description
Ruark Audio R410 all-in-one music system is the first model from the 100 series and combines modern features with a classic wooden design. Ruark is renowned for their compact but beautifully designed and solidly made systems that sound great and the R410 is no different.
The slotted speaker grills are reminiscent of the 1960s, while the classic Ruark rotary knob is also present. The supplied remote control also mimics the round control knob. 100 series is not meant to replace the R series, but complement it, with a more modern feel.
Versatile source playback
The Ruark R410 is packed with every input you could need. In addition to DAB+, DAB and FM radio, you can also stream audio from online services such as Spotify and connect a turntable with a MM cartridge, via a couple of RCA connectors. There is also a cinch input for a CD player. Digital inputs include USB and Toslink. The digital inputs can handle 14-bit, 192 kHz sample rates. There is no built-in CD drive, but an external drive can be connected via USB. This system can also play your TV sound via the HDMI connector that is eARC capable.
Radio choices
The R410 has a built-in FM as well as DAB/DAB+ tuner and can access internet radio stations as well. There are hundreds of DAB stations as well as many more radio stations online.
Four class D amplifiers
The output power is a total of 120 Watts. There are four class D amplifiers driving two woofers and two tweeters. Class D amplifiers are almost 90% efficient and can provide a high output with little heat generation. With Class D, the output signal is made up of a series of high frequency pulses. This is known as Pulse Width Modulation. The audio is recovered by the use of a low pass filter on the output. Class D also uses MOSFET transistors that can switch at high frequencies.
Colour graphical display
The durable glass fronted, colour graphical display, shows the time, alarm and programme information. You can choose between text display or a station with internet sources - just tap the volume control. Display intensity can also be set and auto adjusts to suit the room lighting.
Great sound quality
Along with all of these features, the Ruark uses modern technologies to give a clear and punchy sound. There is also adaptive equalization that gives great sound at all volume levels. Relax and unwind with a great choice of radio and music.
