SVS Prime Wireless SoundBase Pro System is an integrated amplifier for the modern age. It is an upgraded version of the original SVS Prime System. The amplifier offers 150W per channel output as well as great connectivity.
You can stream high-res audio via WiFi. Additionally, the SoundBase Pro supports Apple and Android devices. Spotify Connect is built in as is Bluetooth aptX. Control is simple with the App or remote control. There is also voice command via Alexa or Google Assistant. The unit can also be used to power the main channels in a home cinema system and also features a subwoofer output.
High powered amplifier & high quality DAC
The SoundBase Pro amplifier delivers 150w per channel, for sound with high power, a great dynamic range and fantastic clarity. It is an all-in-one system, in the hi-tech enclosure audiophile components are used with enough power to drive any reasonably sized loudspeakers.
The 192kHz/24-bit DAC can play hi-res files via Wi-Fi, Apple Airplay 2 for iPhones and iOS, and Chromecast for Android phones and other devices. The SVS SoundBase Pro basically converts any unpowered passive speakers into smart speakers.
Great connectivity
Connect to your music in any way you want. There is a wide range of digital and analogue inputs. These include an optical digital input as well as Wi-Fi. You can also connect the sound from your TV via an HDMI socket. There are also RCA and 3.5mm line inputs and a subwoofer output. For a wired network connection there is a pair of pass through ethernet connections. The speaker terminals are gold plated and can use spade connectors, plugs or bare wires. The mains input is via an IEC connector.
Simple control
The data rich 3.5” OLED panel tells you what is happening and there is a fully featured remote control. With the remote unit, you can use the amplifier without needing your phone. Their is also a desktop app as well as apps for Apple and Android devices. You can stream wirelessly via Apple Airplay 2 or Chromecast for Android devices. Voice command is via Alexa or Google assistant. The are are also six front panel pre-sets for music services and playlists.
What is Apple Airplay 2?
Airplay 2 is an app on your IOS device that will connect to Airplay enabled devices such as the Soundbase Pro Amplifier or smart speakers. It will then allow you to send music from your phone or device. It also works with Siri for voice command. Chromecast does the same thing for Android devices. Google Assistant can also control the unit.
