Product Description
Tangent Spectrum X5 BT Phono Pair are active bookshelf speakers with Bluetooth connection designed for use with your home hi-fi system, turntable and personal wireless devices.
Active speakers
The Spectrum X5 BT Phono speakers contain a 50Watt Class-D digital amplifier, so there is no need for an external amp; they are more than capable of filling a room with detailed and pumping music.
Aptx Bluetooth 4.2
The Spectrum X5BT speakers have built-in Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity so you can listen to music from any Bluetooth enabled device. Easy pairing capabilities allow for quick connection so you can stream your music library, Internet radio and steaming services with ease.
Turntable Ready
These speakers have a phono stage built-in so you can connect your turntable straight into the speakers without the need for an external phono stage or amplifier. By switching the RCA phono input to ‘phono’ you’re ready to go (suitable for MM cartridges only).
More ways to connect
The X5 BT has standard RCA phono and 3.5mm connections so you can connect to wired equipment such Hi-Fi Systems. It also has an Optical and Coaxial digital inputs for TVs, CD/DVD and Blu-ray players. A 5V 500mA USB socket even allows you to charge your smartphone.
Connect to a Sub
The Spectrum X5 BT has a 1” soft dome tweeter to deliver clear, detailed highs. This is combined with a 5” long-throw woofer unit to give a strong bass performance, which is needed from such a small cabinet. But if you should need more bass, you can connect the speakers to a subwoofer for more power and low end.
