Product Description
Warwick Acoustics Bravura Electrostatic headphones are lightweight and luxurious and come with an award-winning electrostatic headphone system, injected magnesium ear cups, handmade ear pads, and low capacitance cable.
HPEL Transducer
Warwick had spent 3 years further refining their High-precision Electrostatic Laminate (HPEL) audio transducer technology for the Bravura. In this iteration of the HPEL, the transducer uses a new stator design and state-of-the-art materials which results in ultra-low distortion, wider bandwidth and increased SPL. Every HPEL has been handmade and matched individually which results in an unforgettable listening experience.
Ear-Cups
The ear cups for the Bravura and housing for the HPEL have been made using injected magnesium, magnesium is an excellent material to use because of its high strength-to-weight ratio, superior stiffness and fantastic acoustical damping and RFI/EMI shielding.
Handmade Ear Pads
To ensure comfort, even during long listening sessions, the Bravura’s earpads are handmade using high standard Cabretta hair sheep leather. The leather has been used because of its lightweight, durability and softness.
Low-Capacitance cable
The Bravura Electrostatic comes with Warwick’s bespoke ultra-low capacitance cable, this cable has been designed to guarantee the best signal transfer possible between amplifier and headphone. The cable uses LEMO connectors, which are self latching and high precision, while Kevlar has been used between the inner cores to strengthen the cable. The outer layer of the cable is soft and luxurious using a woven Moplen outer braiding.
