Product Description
Wyrestorm Wyrestorm 48Gbps 8K/60 HDR 4:4:4 Active Optical HDMI Cable (HAOC) has been designed as a next-gen HDMI cable that is ready for furture generations of 4K and 8K HDR content. Using Wyrestorms own active optical cables the HAOC offers pixel perfect native HDMI communication and long distance transmission of information due to their passive communication technology.
8K and 4K HDR
The HAOC’s cable is optical HDMI and has been made ready for the future 8K and high frame rate 4K HDR up to 48Gbps and modern HDR standards, for example, SL-HDR1 And PQ are supported via the latest optical transmission technology. Moreover, the HAOC has been designed as a transparent transmission medium, which means it will support all known HDR standards and transmit them uncompressed.
DSC Compatible
Wyrestorm’s 48Gbps active optical HDMI cable comes with Display Stream Compression Technology within its HDMI connections. This technology is designed to transmit super-high bandwidth information at a lower transmission data rate, this is achieved by using a mathematically lossless compression algotithm.
HDMI 2.1 Support
The HAOC uses a powerful 48Gbps 4-core transmission system, the transmission of data within these cables has been engineered to exceed the current HDMI 2.0 standard therefore the HAOC will support future content up to 48Gbps.
Passive HDMI Communication
HDMI technology works by sending and receiving huge amounts of metadata and this information has a massive impact on the viewing experience. Wyrestorm have designed their active optical cables so that this metadata (wARC, CEC, ALLM and VRR) is all supported.
