Wireless Surround Sound

The RXV6A AV receiver has the capability of becoming a  wireless system, with less clutter and cabling to deal with, when combined with the Yamaha MusicCast 20 or MusicCast 50 speakers.

Magnitude of Connection

The RXV6A has a magnitude of inputs, it has seven HDMI inputs, optical coaxial digital inputs, three analogue inputs and dedicated MM phono input for plugging in a turntable. The AV receiver features a Zone 2 output option, providing you with the choice to introduce an additional pair of speakers to your set up, in another room.

Create a MusicCast System

The Yamaha RX-V6A is compatible with Yamaha's hugely impressive network audio system, MusicCast. With Yamaha’s MusicCast you can control all compatible Yamaha MusicCast products via your smartphone, Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant by voice. With this, you can play the same music on all systems or different music in each system.

Can I use Streaming Services with Yamaha RX-V6A?

You can stream music from Spotify Premium, Tidal, Deezer and all the rest as the RX-V6A is fully equipped for music streaming services. With Tidal and Qobuz in particular, you can listen to higher res files through a compatible hi res system. The RX-V6A is also compatible with Apple AirPlay 2, so you can stream music from your Apple devices, wirelessly.
