Anthem MRX540 AV Receiver is a revised replacement of Anthem’s MRX520. It has an improved version of ARC Genesis, a more accurate calibration microphone, integrated streaming support and Anthem’s Web User Interface to make a highly proficient AV Receiver fit for your home cinema system.
All of these features are housed in a sleek new design that matches Anthem’s STR products.

MRX Range
The MRX-540 is the entry level Receiver in the MRX range; it differs in power and size, by delivering 100 watts per channel to 5 channels and has 7 channels of processing. It’s perfect for smaller home theatre set-ups and newbies to home cinema.
Anthem Web Interface
Anthem Web Interface provides users the ability to access any function or setting and make changes with ease by use of their phone, tablet or laptop. Changes such as powering the main on and off, adjusting volume, tweaking channel trims, calibrating speaker delays and configuring network settings/control options have never been easier.
Online Updates
Unlike like the previous MRX520, you can complete software updates over the web, rather than from USB downloads; the operation of the MRX540 can’t get any easier.
Anthem Room Correction
Anthem’s ARC Genesis has been developed to improve audio quality with the ability to adjust the sound to better fit your room. The DSP software works in tandem with an improved calibrated microphone to provide enhancements to the sound.
The improved ARC software has the most comprehensive set of features yet, with support for both Mac and Windows; target curve adjustment options, improved algorithms and much more.
Airplay 2 & Chromecast Built In
Anthem’s MRX540 comes with support for Chromecast, Airplay 2, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect and Roon! Everything you’ll need for the best possible streaming experience.
Updated DAC
The Anthem MRX540 has an upgraded digital to analogue converter; the AKM 96K/24Bit DACs provide an even smoother and more open sound.
Multiple Inputs
It has 7 HDMI inputs for great flexibility and is compatible with Dolby Vision and supports IMAX Enhanced video. It also has 5 x analogue inputs, 2 x coax digital and 3 x Toslink digital inputs.
