BenQ CinematicColor technology achieves up to 100% of the digital-cinema industry’s super-wide DCI-P3 colour space, which is 1.26 times of the Rec. 709 colour space. This allows you to achieve a more accurate and precise reproduction of the filmmaker’s intentions. With DCI-P3, the W5700s can deliver richer, cleaner and more lifelike colours than ever possible on a 1080p Full HD TV.
Optimised Viewing
BenQ’s exclusive HDR-PRO offers an incredible contrast range (100,000:1) to bring out every detail form 4K content. And the 4K UHD 3840x2160 resolution with 8.3 million distinct pixels for each frame, which is four times the resolution of Full HD 1080p, reduces pixel blur for improved clarity and crisp defined details.
Cinematic Colour Technology
BenQ worked extensively on the W5700s for it to deliver precise levels of D65 colour temperature, gamma, black level, white level, neutral grey, RGBCMY colour tracking, hue, saturation, brightness and output based on DCI-P3 and Rec. 709. Combined with BenQ’s DCI-P3 Cinematic Colour technology’s enhanced colour mapping, the W5700 produces vibrant, immersive and lifelike colours automatically tuned for when viewing DCI-P3 4K Blu-ray movies.
Fit For Any Room
The W5700s can be used day or night in any type of room. The built in ISFccc calibration system allows image and colour performance to be customized to fit your room, along with pre-set light balance modes for day and night. This is allows you to get the best possible colours, balance and light no matter where the W5700s is installed.
Flexible Installation
The W5700s uses lens shift to suit your installation needs. Vertically it can shift 60% up or down and 23% horizontally. The W5700s is also flexible enough to be installed close to the walls it’s projecting on with the use of a 1.6X big zoom and 1.36 ~ 2.18 (100" @ 3 m) throw ratio. The w5700s will adapt to any room size or shape.
Practical Build
To prevent light pollution the W5700s is equipped with a patterned lens ring to prevent stray light and a rearward tilt to eliminate optical engine light. The anti-accumulation lens hood prevents falling dust from gathering and a vertical louver air intake rejects dust from cooling system.
