Wireless Bluetooth

A2+ is Audioengine's most-versatile wireless Bluetooth speakers functioning with all apps, music and devices so you're covered regardless if you choose to listen via Tidal, Spotify or Pandora among others. The Bluetooth features advanced aptX audio codec with impressive sound.

Even if your device does not have aptX, A2+ is backwards-compatible with SBC and AAC so you can wirelessly stream music from any Bluetooth-enabled device. Through careful signal control circuitry and antenna tuning, A2+ has up to 3 times the range of standard Bluetooth for multi-room use with no degradation in audio quality.

Easy Set Up

A2+ Wireless Computer Speakers can be effortlessly connected to your PC, smart device, turntable, TV, network player or other audio product. There is no need for network setup, passwords or buttons. Set up is so simple, just plug your source straight into the inputs on the rear panel of the left speaker using the supplied cables or connect via Bluetooth.

Bass Performance

A2+ produces an amazing bass from such a compact package thanks to the specifically-shaped bass port with tubes on each speaker designed using exact calculations to create incredible lows with least audible air turbulence. These function as integrated mini-subs allowing use with or without a separate subwoofer. Audioengine do not employ enhancement circuits to supplement false bass so what you hear is genuine low and clean bass.

Desktop Set Up

A2+ combats the negative percepetions of custom-built and mass-produced products. It is designed and hand-crafted to surpass in value and performance. Bass retrieval uses a smart acoustic and electrical design with no digital signal processing. The bass on the Audioengine 2+ is substantial for its size; these compact computer speakers pack great impact making them the go-to solution for desktop setups and smaller-room audio.

Custom Components

Audioengine speakers are not “box built” with off-the-shelf parts but are custom-designed to spec with tweeters, woofers and other critical components designed and manufactured in-house. Cabinets, drivers, bass port designs, amplifiers and crossovers are meticulously tuned together to creates a much more efficient system that requires less power than passive speakers with an isolated integrated amplifier or similar AV components.

Amplifier Design

The analogue monoblock amplifiers, fitted in the left speaker, are conservatively-rated at class A/B. This is a more conventional speaker/amp configuration delivering exceptional quality audio and better flexibility. All circuit boards for power and preamp sections are vertically mounted for optimum mechanical shock protection.

Driver Designs

Audioengine A2+ employs audiophile-quality, ferrofluid-cooled silk dome tweeters with Nd (neodymium) magnets. Silk tweeters strive under high power and the edge-driven design grants an ultra smooth response. The woofers use aramid fibre woven glass composite with rubber surrounds, this is an apparently robust material allowing the woofer to retain its shape when driven at high levels. A2+ Wireless speaker drivers are magnetically-shielded.
