BenQ’s W5700 projector delivers precise colours to perfectly preserve the director’s vision in immersive cinematic experiences. To do this the W5700 is powered by a super-wide industry standard DCI-P3 colour space.
Super-Wide 100% DCI-P3
To achieve a better reproduction of the filmmaker’s intentions, BenQ CinematicColor technology achieves up to 100% of the digital-cinema industry’s super-wide DCI-P3 colour space, which is 1.26 times of the Rec. 709 colour space. With DCI-P3, the projector can deliver richer, more lifelike colours than ever possible on a 1080p Full HD TV.
Enhanced Colour Mapping
BenQ’s DCI-P3 Cinematic Colour technology’s enhanced colour mapping performs precision colour rendition to produce visuals with perfect lifelike colours automatically tuned to reflect natural hues when viewing DCI-P3 4K Blu-ray movies.
Fine Tuned Colour Accuracy
BenQ engineers use special instruments and software to test and adjust the W5700 for precise D65 colour temperature, gamma, black level, white level, neutral grey, RGBCMY colour tracking, hue, saturation, brightness and output based on DCI-P3 and Rec. 709.
Fit For Any Room
The W5700 can be installed in any room and used day or night. The built in ISFccc calibration system allows image and colour performance to be customized to suit the room, along with pre-set light balance modes for day and night. This allows you to get the best possible colours, balance and light no matter where the W5700 is installed.
Flexible Projections
The W5700 uses lens shift to allow it to fit perfectly into any room with a various ranges of projection distances and heights. The W5700 is also flexible enough to be installed close to the walls it’s projecting on with the use of a 1.6X big zoom.
Optimised for projection
Along with the generous projector dimensions, BenQ’s exclusive HDR-PRO technology enhances the 4K HDR viewing experience by employing enhanced tone mapping capabilities, HDR-PRO offers an incredible contrast range (100,000:1) to bring out very detail from 4K content.
4K UHD True 8.3m Pixel Resolution
The W5700 produces a 4K UHD 3840x2160 resolution with 8.3 million distinct pixels for each frame. With four times the resolution of Full HD 1080p, 4K UHD reduces pixel blur for improved clarity and crisp defined details.
Practical Build
To prevent light pollution the W5700 is housed in a dustproof matte-black design, is equipped with a patterned lens ring to prevent stray light and a rearward tilt to eliminate optical engine light. An anti-accumulation lens hood prevents falling dust from gathering and a vertical louver air intake rejects dust from cooling system.
