Magnificent Sound
One of the key features in the Yamaha RX-A6A is Surround AI. Surround AI analyses the surroundings and uses cutting edge technology to deliver the absolute best sound effect performance; all in real-time. Cinema DSP enables theatre effects to be pushed to the highest peak with the use of 3D sound field playback technology VIA signal processing algorithms. Get playback from as many as 11.1 channels through a front presence speaker connection.
Dolby Atmos with Height Virtualiser and DTS:X
With Dolby Atmos you can enjoy the sound and feel of upward-firing or ceiling speakers without actually having them - simulate two upward-firing/ceiling speakers by configuring up to five speakers, or four by configuring seven channels. DTS:X cleverly places sound exactly where it would be in space naturally, creating an ultra-realistic sound. Audio immersion and realism are improved with the use of a spatial remapping engine, resulting in an incredibly life-like audio experience.
Auro 3D
Yamaha RX-A6A features Auros vertical stereo field. It’s completely immersive, letting the sound travel around you just as it would in real life. The resulting soundscape is incredibly powerful, transporting the listener right into the world of the movie, show or soundtrack.
