Dali Rubicon 5 is a graceful floorstanding speaker with elegant looks that can't go a miss. The first floorstander in the speaker, the Rubicon 5 uses a soft dome hybrid tweeter module, SMC drivers and solid MDF cabinet to deliver superior sonics.
Rubicon 5 is perfect for use with medium sized surround sound systems and stereo listening.Performance is defined by an extended range of frequencies, delivered with improved details, and a deeper bass which gives the Rubicon 5 it's exceptional presence.
Low-Loss Technology
The soft low-loss rubber surround is designed and bespoke specifically for the Rubicon series, and all of the components are situated in an aluminium chassis designed for maximum airflow around the cone and magnet system.
Hybrid Tweeters
Dali's Rubicon speakers bring you closer to the real thing. Making use of a unique hybrid tweeter configuration which combined both the ribbon tweeter and soft dome tweeter for spectacular refining of the high frequencies. The dispersion of the high-frequency sound is mastered by the ribbon tweeter, outperforming other existing tweeter technologies.
It uses a super lightweight voice coil to achieve a wide bandwidth, housed in a powerful ferrite magnet which maintains excellent control of the coils movements. The hybrid tweeter module delivers a broad bandwidth and super wide dispersion that gets to work as low as 2.5 KHz, providing the high quality foundation that is key to Dali's sound philosophy.
Elegant Cabinet
These speakers are truly gorgeous. Dali are no strangers to the art of fine craftmanship, and have a archive of beautifully designed audio products. The Rubicon 5 is gracefully designed with elegant exterior that contains all the low-loss drivers. Within the cabinet, the mid-range and bass units are separated into their own chambers. Turbulence is kept to a minimum by the placement of a bass reflex port behind each woofer which also works to optimise the timing.
