Like all of Elipson's newest products, these bring together the flagship hi-fi performance with cutting-edge electronic audio technologies.
Prestige Facet 8B
The lightweight and compact Prestige Facet 8B bookshelf speaker is ideal for small spaces. The 80th Anniversary Edition features new enhanced crossover, improved cables, and eye-catching aesthetics comprising of satin black with gold highlights.
The 2-way bass-reflex speaker is rated at 85W RMS (6 Ohms) and features a 170mm mid/bass driver with a bullet-shaped phase plug to limit distortion from vibrations. Paired with this, is a 25mm silk dome tweeter which affords a 47-25k Hertz frequency response and 91-decibel sensitivity that enables pairing with any amplifier.
The multifaceted, sculpted silicone surround rings encircling each driver reduce the baffle effect and limit diffractions for a more linear response curve and a smoother listening. The front panel with dual-layer lacquer is composed of two dense materials reinforced by several internal brackets.
Gold plated speaker terminals with silver-plated contacts are incorporated to maximise signal transmission for bi-wiring or bi-amplification. Lively performance make it an excellent surround sound speaker for a home cinema installation.
