Emotiva BasX A2 Two Channel Power Amplifier delivers a wide, natural and smooth soundstage, ideal for stereo set-ups. The BasX A2 is audiophile grade, has a heavy-duty linear power supply, a high current short signal path Class A/B output stage, protection circuitry and has many connection types for ultra flexibility.
Why BasX A2 Power Amp?
Emotiva’s BasX A2 is a two channel/stereo Class A/B power amp that delivers a detailed, smooth and natural audio performance. It can be used in a stereo set-up for your left and right channels or with other power amps, particularly other Emotiva BasX models, for a multi channel surround sound system.
Drives All Speakers
With a heavy-duty linear power supply and an oversized toroidal power transformer, the BasX A2 delivers 160w p/ch into 8 Ohms and 250w p/ch into 4 Ohms, which can drive any set of speakers, even the most demanding.

Input Detection
The BasX A2 power amp features a unique piece of technology that allows the BasX A2 to turn on when an audio signal is detected. This is practically useful if your pre amp doesn’t have a trigger output.
Remote Trigger
Speaking of triggers, you can enable the BasX A2 to control or be controlled by other trigger-enabled equipment with built in remote trigger input and output.
Connection Types
High quality inputs and outputs are featured to allow you to connect the BasX A2 to a number of devices, whilst maintaining a pure and reliable audio signal. Such connections include, high quality, industry standard, unbalanced (RCA) inputs for connection to almost any processor or pre amp, and audiophile-grade, heavy duty, insulated five way speaker binging posts, which accept banana plugs, spade lugs, or bare wire, for connection to a wide range of speakers.

Excellent expensive looking build quality. Runs silent. Big punchy sound through my Magneplanar LRS+ speakers, Rega CD player. 250 watts at 4 ohm is earth moving power. Not many in this price range with that amount of power. No minus points. -
