Emotiva BasX A3 is a three-channel power amp with a class A/B output stage that is designed to deliver a smooth, accurate and detailed audio with lots of power and natural imaging. The BasX A3 is built with high-class materials and is fitted with Emotiva’s very best technology to produce a outstanding performance that is perfect for a 3.1 set-up.
The BasX Range
Emotiva’s BasX power amp range covers you for all types of hi fi set-ups, from a two-channel system through to seven-channel system. The A3 is ideal for a 3.1 channel system, whether that is upgrading the current power amp in your system or for any use where three channels is needed, particularly the front three in a surround sound system.
Powers Most Demanding Speakers
With the use of a high-class linear power supply, and an oversized toroidal power transformer, the BasX A3 is able to drive the most demanding of speakers. It delivers 140w p/ch into 8 Ohms and 200w p/ch into 4 Ohms, and is designed to sound amazing with all types of audio set-ups, no matter what style of music it is.
Fault Protection System
To prevent damage and/or unwanted noises to occur when a power shortage, the BasX A3 uses an advanced, audiophile-grade, fault protection system that protects the amp from all common faults from overloads to power cuts. It’s also entirely transparent under normal listening conditions so that you can’t hear a thing.

You connect the BasX A3 to almost any processor or preamp with the A3’s numerous connection types, such as the high quality, industry standard, unbalanced RCA’s, and the high grade five-way speaker terminals, which accept banana plugs, spade plugs and bare wire, perfect for most speaker types.
