Product Description
Ferrum Audio ERCO DAC is designed to get the very best possible sound from your digital sources via optical, coaxial or USB with both single-ended (RCA) and balanced (XLR) outputs.
Of course it can be used as a dedicated DAC in a hi-fi or headphones system with the benefit of an excellent onboard headphone amplifier. It can also be used with/without the matching HYPSOS power supply upgrade (not included) which is shown together with ERCO in several photos for reference.
ERCO allows for enhanced transparency across the soundscape which in turn gives you a less fatiguing listening experience that allows you to truly appreciate the music.
Purist Digital to Analogue Conversion
The ERCO headphone DAC is designed to be the best of the best – a DAC without compromise, whilst combining all the tools that make the Ferrum family one of the most respected product line ups in the Hi-Fi world today.
Keeping it clean
The ERCO combines over two decades of experience with latest technology to deliver a clean and clear soundscape by using Ferrum technology that sets them apart from other brands, while combining with unbeatable self-developed Digital to Analog conversion all thanks to the ESS Sabre DAC chip.
Choosing your output
You can use any of your own high-end headphones that use either the 4.4mm or 6.35mm headphone outputs, or for the ultimate in performance using a set of XLR or RCA loudspeakers on the desktop. Either option allows for perfect clarity across the 10 Hz – 30 kHz (+/- 0.05 dB) 10 Hz – >200 kHz (+/- 1 dB) spectrum.
Power Link
The ERCO brings in the option to pair the unit with HYPSOS (not included) that truly allows the ERCO to shine and regulate the power to ensure a long life of the unit, this is achieved by the FPL (Ferrum Power Link) that unleashes the ERCO to the max.
