Product Description
Focal Chora 806 is the entry bookshelf speaker in the new chora series, before the 816 and 826. The new 2 way bookshelf loudspeaker replaces the 706 from the chorus series and has been designed to be compact but powerful.
Why use Slatefiber?
Slatefiber Technology found exclusively in Focal products makes use of recycled materials. This uses non-woven carbon fibres sandwiched between layers of thermoplastic polymer to create the perfect mix of well balanced sound, rigidity and damping. Focal's extensive engineering expertise delivers smooth and balanced sound - perfect for any type of music.

Chora 806 showcases a well balanced new 6.5" midrange speaker driver with excellent bass. This features the focal slatefiber cone and TNF Aluminium/Magnesium tweeter, it offers a captivating listening experience. Designed immaculately it is available in three standout colour finishes, that fit in to any home, ideal for rooms of up to 20m².
Smooth and Easy Listening
The TNF Aluminium/Magnesium tweeter incoporated in the Chora 806 provides a soft and precise trebile. Alongside this, the surround that links to the dome is designed using a memory foam material called Poron.
This design point reduces distortion by a third between 2000Hz and 3000Hz, the hearing range the ear is most sensitive to. The inverted dome featured gives a silky treble that spreads throughout the room resulting in easy listening.
