Product Description
iFi Audio Zen One Signature is a pure DAC, which means it doesn’t have a built-in headphone amp or volume control, however, what it does do is serve as a home audio hub for all your digital devices. From PC and Macs to smartphones and tablets, disc players, TV’s, audio servers and games consoles.
Bluetooth
The Zen One Signature supports every hi-res Bluetooth 96KHz, DSD256, PCM384 and MQA384kHz as well as HD Bluetooth technology and extensive HD codec support: aptX Adaptive, LDAC, aptX HD and HWA/LHDC. The system’s high gain antenna is also designed to extend the Bluetooth range. The system is also Bluetooth 501 compliant with up to 8 devices can be stored in memory to make it easy to switch from one device to another.
Balanced Circuitry
Ifi Audio has engineered the Zen One Signature with balanced circuitry with ‘Signature-grade’ circuit components to deliver exceptional sonic purity and low distortion. Active speakers, headphone amp, preamp or integrated amp can be connected via an RCA single-ended analog and 4mm balanced outputs.
16-core XMOS Microcontroller
The digital enguine within the Zen One Signature has been based around the Burr-Brown chipset combined with a low latency 16-core XMOS microcontroller. Ifi Audio has also designed the system with extensive jitter-eradication tech within the digital stage including iFi’s GMT (Global Master Timing) femto-precision clock and intelligent memory buffer.
MQA Support
MQA is supported, with the ability to fully decode up to 38kHz therefore the Zen One Signature completes its ‘three unfold’ decoding process internally.
Design
The Zen One Signature is encased in an aluminium enclosure and finished in a Deep Space Blue. Power can either be supplied over USB from a connected device such as a laptop or from mains using an AC/DC adapter.
