Product Description
KEF KC62 is a compact subwoofer that is designed to deliver powerful and accurate bass performances for an enjoyable, immersive experience. The KC62 uses KEF’s ground breaking Uni-Core technology, P-Flex surround design and can be used with almost any speaker system.
Why the KC62?
The KC62 subwoofer is one of KEF’s smallest subs on the market. It features two 6.5” force cancelling drive units powered by 1,000W RMS of specially designed Class D amplification, which is housed a ultra-compact extruded aluminium cabinet.
Uni-Core Technology
KEF’s Uni-Core technology combines both drivers into a single magnet system, which reduces cabinet size by over a third, whilst increasing excursion to unlock exceptional output and depth.
Compact Sub
KEF’s KC62, unlike a lot of subs on the market, is an ultra-compact subwoofer standing at only 24.6cm with a width of only 25.6cm. Contrary to it’s small stature the KC62 is capable of providing accurate, deep bass for an fully immersive movie or musical experience.
1000W RMS
The KC62’s twin drivers are powered by 1,000W RMS (2 x 500W) of specially designed Class D amplification, which provides an exceptional level of control and the power to deliver instant bursts of power when needed.
5 Pre-sets
The KC62 has five Room Placement Equalisation pre-sets to ensure the same performance no matter where the sub is installed.
P-Flex Surround Design
KEF’s KC62 P-Flex driver surround has a unique pleated design to improve resistance to acoustic pressure in the cabinet, which allows the driver to move more precisely and produce a deeper and more accurate bass reproduction.
Design meets substance
The KC62 sub is made from extruded aluminium. It has curved cabinet design that providing strength and style. The ultra-compact size enables it to fit in most locations, and the Carbon Black, Mineral White or Titanium Grey finishes allow it to match several of the most popular colours of LS50 Wireless II or LSX II speakers - as well as most decors.
