Product Description
Klipsch Heritage Heresy IV Speakers are 3-way floor-standing loudspeakers crafted in a real wood veneer cabinet and features an improved midrange driver, Klipsch’s trademark Tractrix geometry and rear port for enhanced bass performance.
Driver Design
The Heritage Heresy IV’s have a 3-way speaker system that consists of a 12” woofer, a horn-loaded midrange compression driver and 1” tweeter. The midrange driver uses a polymide diaphragm for improved sound and is coupled with a K-704 Tractrix horn, which provides a wide coverage pattern and smooth frequency response.
Port Design
A rear port design is featured to improve the low frequency response by almost 10Hz, which delivers a floor filling bass. It also utilises Klipsch’s Tractrix geometry and custom made inner flares, which minimise air turbulence and port noise, to result in a much more cleaner and powerful performance.
Bi Amping Input
High quality binding posts are provided for bi-wiring or bi-amping options. From these inputs, complex internal wiring, made with carbon-loaded insulation, nitrogen-injected PE and solid long-grain copper conductors, are used to provide the purest signal transfer from input cup to crossover network.
Matched Pairs
The Heritage Heresy IV speakers use the highest-grade materials for the cabinet to achieve great sound reinforcement. The two speakers use a grain-matched real wood veneer made from the same timber so that they’re matched in sound and in aesthetic. They come in four finishes; Distressed Oak, Black, Cherry and Walnut.
