Product Description
Luxman PD-151 MK II turntable is an updated and improved version of the original PD-151. Luxman have taken what was an already impressive turntable and reimagined the internal construction to elevate the PD-151 to a new level of performance whilst retaining the same Luxman DNA that made the original so highly regarded.
You also have the option to order with the Luxman LMC-5 MC phono cartridge.
Analogue Purity
The PD-151 MK II is a pure analogue turntable designed using the PD-171A / AL and the first generation PD-151 as a starting point with the aim of improving the internals and making it more accessible than ever before.
Featuring a 10mm aluminium top panel and a 4kg top platter with an all new S shaped tonearm – taken from the LTA-309 this only starts to scratch the surface of new features that this incredible turntable can offer.
New Motor
A major player in the improvement to the PD-151 MK II is the introduction of an all new brushless DC motor that is more power efficient than its predecessor that enables a more precise and smooth drive train that will deliver your vinyl as you would want it.
Underslung Chassis
Luxmans team of master engineers designed a underslung, suspended enclosure that brings all the components together under one piece of 10mm thick aluminium that retains rigidity whilst eliminating unrequired vibration.
This enables a separation from power & motor using rubber dampening that enables the MK II to take what was learnt from the first generation into this new model.
Separate pitch adjustments
The PD-151 MKII already takes the near surgical level of refinement of playback to a new level with easy adjustments for 33-1/3, 45 and 78rpm (with suitable cartridge swap), allowing you to enjoy this beautiful turntable with your entire vinyl collection.
