Product Description
Mission QX-3 MKII speakers are the smallest floor standers in the QX MKII range. Featuring a 5”/135mm bass driver and a superb ring dome treble unit, the QZ-3 MKII has taken the technologies of the Mission LX MKII speakers and evolved them into something even greater.
QX-3 MKII State-of-the-art Drivers
The drivers for the QX-3 MKII have been manufactured using acrylic fibre, resulting in a sturdy, sustainable driver with an elegant look. Standard drivers in this price range usually employ much harsher material for the drivers' construction but the QX-3 MKII goes above and beyond the standard. As a result, the mid frequencies stand out in your audio of choice and are delivered with beautiful detail and realism.
Premium Aluminium Top Plate
Premium aluminium material is used to construct the top plate, ensuring stability for the magnificent cabinets that come in a selection of classy, sleek finishes.
Phase Plug Ring Dome Centre
The visible phase plug has been added to improve the expansion of 10kHz-20kHz, deterring any loss of HF waves that come from the middle of the diaphragm. This feature is designed to improve the listeners' enjoyment of HF detail.
Inverted Driver Geometry
The QX-3 MKII benefits from the use of inverted driver geometry. The layout of the bass-midrange and treble drivers has been designed in such a way that the sound waves merge at the height of the listener's ear, resulting in excellent time alignment. The groundbreaking serrated driver surrounds have been enhanced to feature airflow analyse and detailed measurement, enabling the driver and port performance to be smoother than ever.
