Product Description
Mission ZX-3 are a pair of floor-standing speakers, the smallest floor-standings speakers in the flagship ZX range. They’re perfect if you want a deeper and more dynamic sound than the LX-2 model but not too obtrusive for most living rooms.
Powerful Bass Units
The Mission ZX-3’s have dual 5.25” DiaDrive mid-range/bass woofers made with advanced aluminium matrix cones, combined with twin rear bass ports to help reinforce the bass efficiency from this slimline cabinet. These woofer designs deliver a clearer mid-range and better bass response even at lower volumes.
Mission’s Inverted Driver Geometry
Inverted Driver Geometry (IDG) design flips the woofer and the tweeter positions in an effort to equal the time it takes each frequency range to reach your ears. This is get a more focused, precise sound that enhances the vocal frequencies, which with decent quality recording and source can truly sound like the vocalists are 'there' in the room with you.
Ring Dome Tweeter Technology
Mission ZX-3’s use advanced 1.5” ring dome tweeter units to produce a detailed and extended top-end. They’re placed in-between the woofers to sit nicely at head height. The high precision tweeters extend top end frequencies, up to 30 kHz and beyond, to deliver lower distortion, clarity and high levels of detail.
Non-Obtrusive Design
The LX-3’s only require a 20cm gap from the rear wall so these floor-standing speakers won't intrude more than what a stand-mount speaker would do. To combat the slim design, special bracing methods have been developed to help increase rigidity and promote the tight, punchy bass that Mission speakers are famous for.
The LX-3’s are available in 2 finishes that can fit with most home decors, Black and White.
