Product Description
PS Audio P15 Power Plant Regenerator is the second largest model in the range, sitting just below the P20 Power Plant. The P15 regulates power, purifies and protects it with lower output impedance, lower distortion and a new sine wave generator to deliver a superior performance.
How does it work?
Once taking in the AC power and converting it into DC, the P15 Power Plant Regenerator uses exclusive PS Audio technology to regenerate and create a new sine-wave-perfect, ultra low impedance, regulated AC power. During this process of regenerating the power, any damaging issues in the power supply such as distorted waveforms, fluctuating dynamics, low voltage, lagging power, and noise are eliminated.
Drives Most Systems
Unlike the P3 and P12 models, which each only have 4 outlets, this model features 9 outlets (including 3 high current) and has 1200W capacity, making it an ideal choice to run many systems. If you have very large power amplifiers though, we recommend considering the flagship P20.
Pure Regenerated Power
The P15 Power Plant Regenerator features an upgraded analogue power amplifier and FGPA based analogue DSD sine wave generator. With 5 separate zones and an impressive 1500 watts of clean regenerated power, the P15 is able to deliver pure, clear and regulated power supply to your high-end system through a buss bar delivery system.
Fully Protected
PS Audio’s P15 provides full protection from power surges, spikes or voltage issues and threatening problems. Advanced clamping devices protect the Power Plant and it is fully regulated to protect from voltage swings or extreme conditions that can tend to damage connected protection.
Cleanwave and MultiWave
The P15 Power Plant has Cleanwave and MultiWave features that can be turned on to improve the AC power. Multiwave enhances the sine wave by extending the peak charging time, allowing connected equipment more energy storage and experience less power supply.
As AC power is never completely symmetrical, which can cause power transformers to magnetise, by activating Cleanwave, connected equipment demagnetises the transformers, which results in cleaner sounding audio.
Touch Screen Panel
The P15’s front panel has a wealth of control options not usually founded in AC power products. From this touch screen display you can measure the performance levels, adjust settings and control the individual zones. It can also be controlled over the Internet, plus you can receive emails or text alerts if any problems occur. You are able to fully monitor voltage levels, power quality and power usage in real time and very accurately.
