Product Description
The QED WM15 is a useful wall mountable stereo speaker switch (for connection in parallel), for using two pairs of speakers with a single amplifier. You can switch between each pair independently or drive both pairs at the same time.
This switch connects in parallel, which should offer better sound quality than a switch connected in series. However, using this switch will drop the overall load and needs to be used with care when switching. For example, if you are using two pairs of 6 ohm speakers, the load will drop to 3 ohms. To maintain speaker loading, use the QED WM17 which connects in series.
Screw cable connection. Requires back box of at least 44mm depth. This should never be used in the same back box as a mains powered device or switch.
