Product Description
Revel F206 Speakers (Pair) are floorstanding speakers, apart of Revel’s Perfroma3 speaker range. The F206’s are true full-range loudspeakers that have a small footprint, a sleek design and deliver an uncompressed dynamic range with low distortion across a wide frequency spectrum.
Low Distortion
Revel’s Performa3 F206 speakers have low-frequency and midrange transducers that feature distortion reduction mechanisms to achieve low distortion levels, even at high volumes.
No Chance of Resonance
These precision transducers use ribbed aluminum cones for the ideal piston-like behavior that reduces resonance. In conjuction with the cast aluminum frame, it means that resonance is extremely well prevented, which is better for audio quality.
Identical Flares
To minimise dynamic compression and port-generated noise, and to assure a low-distortion low-frequency performance, the F206’s have a sophisticated fluid-model designed low-frequency port with identical flares on both ends. This design also helps with installation options, as you can place them closer to a wall without affecting bass response.
F206 Tweeter
The tweeter uses a specially designed motor and dome assembly that improves speaker transparency. It’s integrated acoustic lens waveguide uses an advanced design approach to match the dispersion levels of that of the midrange driver, resulting in a smooth and consistent sound over an exceptionally wide listening area, and increased dispersion at higher frequencies.
F206 Cabinet Design
Similar to Revel' s flagship Ultima2 Series, the Revel F206 is house in fully-curved cabinet, which is stiffer than box shapes cabinets and is made with contiguous wood layers that prevent splitting and enclosure-induced coloration.
The F206 loudspeakers also come with magnetic grilles that are designed to minimize sonic diffraction and provide a clean and neat appearance, hiding the hardware on the loudspeaker baffle.
