Product Description
SVS Prime Wireless Pro speakers package SVS quality speakers with a high-performance amplifier. There are four Class D amplifiers driving the tweeter and bass units separately, capable of providing 200 watts of power.
They also feature a user-friendly built-in screen that keeps you informed about what is being played. The tweeter has a high-accuracy diffuser and the bass unit is made of lightweight but rigid material. Connectivity is Excellent with many analogue and digital inputs available.
High Power
These compact but powerful speakers are a one-box solution to your audio needs. The dynamic class D amplifier drives each woofer and tweeter with 50 watts of power. The volume belies the cabinet size and should fill an average room.
Optimised Drivers
The 1” aluminium dome tweeter is acoustically optimised. Realism is maintained with highs that are clear and precise. Detail is placed with pinpoint accuracy in the sound field. The diffuser is FEA optimized. FEA stands for Finite Element Analysis and is the latest aid for computer design.
The new diffuser design gives a wide and convincing soundstage. Bass sound is important to deliver impact to music and movies. The SVS Prime speakers use lightweight but rigid materials in the woofers that unveil the sound and are designed for sonic accuracy.
Low Diffraction Cabinets
The speakers have tapered edges to reduce diffraction which can cause distortion and a loss of accuracy. These are known as chamfers and will ensure a broad soundstage with good imaging. The internal bracing reduces resonances giving a rigid structure that provides an accurate output at any drive level.
Hi-res Audio
With the SVS Prime Wireless Pro speakers, there is a massive amount of connectivity with Wi-Fi, Apple Airplay 2 for your iPhone, and Chromecast for Android phones. The user-friendly screen shows you what is playing. There is also an HDMI connection directly from your TV. The DAC is an advanced design with 192kHZ/24-bit streaming over Wi-Fi. This means that the quality is the highest from all streaming services as well as other sources.
Excellent Connectivity
The HDMI input is ARC enabled, this sends hi-res stereo audio from your TV. Instead of having a separate lead for video and audio, HDMI Arc can send both. eARC is a higher resolution version of ARC, which stands for Audio Return Channel. The SVS Prime Speakers also have line level, optical and 3.5mm Aux inputs. Not to mention Ethernet for a wired network connection. Finally, there is a subwoofer output.
DTS Play-Fi Enabled
Smartphones, tablets and PCs can be used to control the speakers. Additionally, you can use the DTS Play-Fi app on your phone. This app will stream to your speakers over Wi-Fi and is of better quality than Bluetooth. An IR remote control is provided. There are also 6 custom presets for access to playlists and streaming services.
