Product Description
Triangle Borea BR09 Speakers (Pair) are 3-way floor-standing speakers; the largest of the Borea floor-stander range. The flagship BR09’s are perfect for larger sized rooms due to it’s delivery of low-end frequencies and low-power handling.
Why the BR09 Speakers?
The BR09 floor-standing speakers work in a 3-way configuration with a transducer dedicated to each frequency range to diffuse all frequencies with no interference, this allows for each driver to precisely deliver audio with accuracy and detail. The Borea BR09’s stand at 1.1m high and are designed for large rooms ranging from 30m2 and above.
EFS Tweeter Driver
Triangle’s Boreo BR09’s 25mm silk dome tweeter has next generation Efficient Flow System technology for the improvement of high frequencies dispersion and to avoid directional audio flow so that the sound is even across the room.
The BR09’s tweeter has a transducer that is powered by a neodymium motor that generates high magnetic power from a compact size.
Midrange Driver
A 16cm midrange driver with a 100% natural cellulose paper membrane is used to avoid coloration of the intermediate frequencies and deliver natural sounding vocals, without degrading the quality of the low frequencies.
A small pleat peripheral short-travel suspension is also included to allow for perfect control of the movement of the moving elements, to result in a more realistic-sounding vocal.
2x 16” Bass Drivers
The Borea BR09 has two motorised 16cm fibreglass drivers that operate in a large bass-reflex enclosure to produce bass frequencies with much more power and accuracy, as low as 35Hz.
DVAS System
The BR09’s cabinet is made of perorated internal panels in MDF and filled with high-density EVA foam to reduce internal resonance and allow the speaker structure to be more rigid and secure. The design is able to better absorb impacts so that the low frequencies are more precise and without distortion.
Decoupling System
Triangle’s Borea BR09 is designed to b mounted on a pedestal to achieve better stability and to prevent resonance. Rubber pads are supplied if your floor doesn’t allow for spikes, which are also included.
