Dolby Atmos with Height Virtualiser

The RXA2A AV Amp is great for those without in-ceiling or upward-firing speakers in their home cinema system as it comes with Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization Technology, which simulates the Atmos experience with forward facing-drivers.

Enjoy a 5.1 surround speaker system thanks to this technology, as well as two Dolby Atmos elevation speakers or two additional overhead speakers. *Please note, this feature is only available through a future update.

DTS:X for Realism

The ART is a fifth foot in the centre of the unit base on the chassis. It has been placed in the design in order to dampen the vibrations and noise from power transistors, power transformers & heat sinks. It also helps to reduce other sources of vibration that may occur to ensure the sound is as true to the original and unaffected as it can be.

HDR10+ Technology

HDR10+ works the ratio of light to dark of video content on a scene-by-scene basis so important details can remain, it ultimately enables your display to reproduce images more realistically, the way it was intended. * This function is available via future updates.

YPAO Reflected Sound Control

YPAO Reflected Sound Control checks the room acoustics with an included YPAO microphone so that you can fine-tune your audio system to compliment a specific room.

Compatible with Wireless Rear Speakers

The Yamaha RXA2A AV receiver is compatible with the MusicCast 50 or MusicCast 20 wireless streaming speakers so you can create a clean and clutter-free wireless home sound system.

Preset Songs and Stations

There are four SCENE buttons on the RXA2A so you can preset them for different inputs, such as an FM or Internet radio station, a streaming service, a USB device or a playlist on a NAS network.
