Product Description
Creek Audio Voyage CD Player can stream audio from the internet or local network, convert all your high-resolution digital data files into analogue, and play CDs on it's reliable Stream Unlimited CD80 slot-drive transport.
Great Look
In keeping with the tone of Creek Audio's Voyage range the Voyage CD player matches the sleek, sophisticated and minimalistic look of the i20-integrated amplifier. It has a rugged 2mm think steel case and luxurious 12mm extruded aluminum front panel that is available in either black or silver brushed and anodized finish. The buttons are discreet and mounted on the wide acrylic window. These operate the main CD functions, digital input selection and volume control. And, of course, all these functions are remote controllable for your convenience and to increase maximum comfort.
What it can do
The DAC's built-in, non-decimating, volume control can be activated with a switch on the back panel to enable audio output level adjustments in 1 dB steps, enabling it to be connected directly to a power amplifier or Creed Audio's very own Voyage i20 integrated amplifier with direct power amp mode selected.
The Voyage CD Player can support PCM signals sampled at 384 kHz and 22.4 MHz direct stream digital (DSD) data. In other words the Voyage CD Player makes it ideal for all your music, CD or Digital formats, to play at high-resolution.
The CD Players outputs are unbalanced, professional quality RCA and Neutrik balanced XLR sockets, buffered by two Texas Instruments OPA2134 Sound PlusTM op-amps. It's suitable for all Hi-Fi systems.
Power output
The Voyage CD Player ensures a safe and secure performance, regardless of the mains quality, voltage, or frequency with the use of a custom high frequency power supply to provide a regulated, noise free, DC voltage to power the DAC and CD transport circuitry.
When the Voyage is not in use but left on, it will automatically shut down after a reasonable time, from then on its highly efficient power supply circuit will consume extremely low current in Standby mode. All this advanced circuitry eliminates the need to use expensive external line conditioners, or surge suppression devices, to maintain optimal performance.
