iFi Audio iDSD Diablo is a top-of-the-range portable DAC and headphone amplifier designed to deliver a pure, unadulterated sonic performance. The iDSD Diablo is coated in a fiery red finish, fitted with improved technology to provide the very best reference level sound.
Improved Burr-Brown DAC Chips
The iDSD Diablo uses two Burr-Brown chipsets so that file formats remain ‘bit-perfect’ to allow you to listen to music as the artist intended in the format in which it was recorded.
Alongside this, a 16-core low-latency XMOS chip is used to process the data received via the USB and S/PDIF digital inputs, which can handle PCM 768, DSD 512 and 2xDXD. It also provides full MQA decoding!
PureWave Technology
The iDSD Diablo has a balanced, differential analogue circuit design to reduce noise and cross-talk within the signal path by fully separating the left and right channels. It is also benefited with the use of PureWave technology, which is balanced, symmetrical dual-mono topology with short, direct signal paths. It achieves sonic purity due to the exceptional linearity and extremely low levels of noise and distortion.
No More Jitter
Extensive jitter-eradication technologies have been applied to the digital stage, including our Global Master Timing femto-precision clock and intelligent memory buffer to solve jitter once and for all.
