iFi Audio Zen Blue V2 Streamer allows you to listen to hi-res music from all streaming services and Bluetooth enabled devices and plays them back via the very best Bluetooth connection. The Zen Blue V2 has been updated with a enhanced clock, improved Bluetooth antenna and is powered by a power supply by Texas Instruments.
What’s New in Version Two?
The main update to iFi Audio’s classic Zen Blue is the upgraded Bluetooth antenna, which increases range by up to 80%, and has been updated to connect to all Bluetooth formats. With minor touches and improvements here and there on the circuitry too, the Zen Blue V2 is really something special.
Bluetooth Now and Forever
The improved Zen Blue V2 supports all current and future formats of Bluetooth audio, which means all Bluetooth enabled devices can be connected and played back via the very best Bluetooth technology. Supported formats include Qualcomm’s aptX and aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, aptX Adaptive, LDAC and HWA/LHDC, hi-res Bluetooth codecs created by Sony and Huawei, Apple’s AAC and, the standard Bluetooth codec, SBC.
Improved GMT Clock
With an improved, low-jitter, more precise, Global Master Timing clock in the circuitry, the Zen Blue V2 delivers an even smoother audio performance, resulting in a better ‘ZEN’ experience.
Texas Instruments Power Supply
The Zen Blue V2 streamer uses a low-noise power supply from Texas Instruments, which achieves an awesome unity-gain bandwidth, very low noise levels, very low distortion levels, high output drive capabilities, wide maximum-output-swing bandwidths and high slew rates, ultimately resulting in a very powerful and clean piece of gear.
Flexible Set-Up
You can integrate the Zen Blue V2 in many different ways with its connection types, giving you loads of options for various set-ups. You can connect directly to an amp or active speakers via the RCA connection, or with the 4.4mm output for those with a balanced input. And you can even connect it to anything with a built-in DAC, such as a TV, integrated amp/pre amp or an external DAC with the optical and coaxial connections.
