Product Description
Mytek Liberty DAC and Headphone amplifier is the brands latest digital to analogue converter with support for PCM, MQA and Native DSD. It is specifically designed for premium quality music playback and mastering of hi-res and all digital audio files.
The Liberty DAC
The Mytek employs the asynchronous Sabre ESS9018K2M DAC chip. The DAC hosts many digital inputs, digital volume management and unbalanced alongside balanced audio outputs and a premium headphone amplifier. Designed as a smaller brother of Brooklyn DAC, Liberty DAC provides sturdy performance in a compact transportable 1/3 rack package.
Master Quality Authenticated
Created by Meridian's Bob Stuart and mathematician Peter Craven, MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is an award-winning technology specifically designed to encapture the sound quality and musical details of the original master recording to the consumer via regular streaming channel of approx 1.2 Mbits/sec. MQA is currently the sole technology that provides a concrete method of streaming high-resolution audio.
Native DSD Playback
Mytek Liberty provides support for single-bit, high sample rate DSD audio. After meticulous research into DSD, ongoing listening tests and building DSD equipment, Mytek now believe that this digital music format provides a sound quality which is subjectively closest to the traditional analogue recordings.
