JVC DLA-NZ9 8K Projector uses 8K/e-shiftX technology to reproduce 8K image quality and the projector is a bright 3000 lumens. The NZ9’s 18-element, 16-group all-glass 100mm diameter high-quality lens makes it stand out within its range and wide colour gamut and a native contrast ratio of 100,000:1 makes this projector truly a high end piece of kit.
An 8K Projector
JVC DLA-NZ9 8K Projector can process vast amounts of 8K input data and has been designed to upscale any source to 8K. It has adopted LSI’s developed with the latest technology and as a result, can produce more beautiful and realistic video images full of contrast and reality from streaming to 4K UHD-BD.
All-Glass-Lens
The DLA-NZ9 is truly a high-end projector, being equipped with an 18 element, 16 group all glass lens encased in a full aluminium lens barrel. Five ED lenses reduce colour fringing by being calibrated to account for the differences in the R/G/B refractive index which means the NZ9 projection is 8K from corner to corner of the screen and able to deliver precise reproduction of 4K or 8K 2 projection.
Rich HDR Content
The JVC DLA-NZ9 is made to reproduce the rich video information of the extended brightness range, BT.2020 wide colour gamut and 10-bit gradation of HDR content. The NZ8 supports all HDR formats for example HDR10 for Blu-Ray and streaming, HLG for broadcast and HDR10+ signal format.
HDR10 works in tandem with Frame Adapt HDR to create the optimal picture quality possible. HDR10+ contains the metadata needed to recreate the scene how the producers and filmmakers intended and Frame Adapt HDR will instantly analyse the peak brightness in HDR10 content using a unique algorithm to ensure you can watch any HDR content at its intended quality.
High Resolution Image Projection
The JVC DLA-NZ9 projector utilises a refined 0.69-inch 4K D-ILA has doubled the speed required to display images from 120 Hz to 240 Hz-equivalent. The NZ9’s ultra-high contrast optics help to achieve an optical brightness as high as 3000 lumens and had dramatically improved the image quality.
4K120p Input
The JVC DLA-NZ9 is equipped with 4K120p input which means that the signal latency is infinitesimal making it effective at displaying high frame-rate gaming content. Additionally, the Low Latency Mode reduces delay in displaying the rapid signal inputs when playing video games.
BLU-Escent
The JVC DLA-NZ9 features the latest Blue Laser diode assist light source. BLUEsent technology can achieve exceptional brightness and a longevity of 20000 hours making them perfect for home theatre projectors. The Laser diode allows for dynamic control of brightness and reproduces images that are closer to human perception and achieves detailed and powerful video expression.
8K/e-Shiftx
The NZ9 comes with inbuilt 8K/e-shiftx technology, e-shiftx is a high resolution display technology that doubles the resolution of video by shifting a pixel by 0.5 pixels. E-shift is combined with 0.69-inch native 4K D-ILA device and shift direction has increased from two directions to 4 to enable the display of 8K signal information in its entirety.
